David Hollingsworth

Originally from London, England, I received formal training in floristry and spent 15 years honing my craft in central London. Owning flower shops and curating numerous weddings and events allowed me to refine my art.

Following London, I embarked on a 13-year floral journey in Spain, expanding my expertise. The next chapter led me to Mexico, where I immersed myself in the world of tropical flowers.

In New Orleans, I thrived as the creative director of a floral event company for six years, serving as the lead designer. During this time, I crossed paths with my business partner, Alan. Together, we lead Hollingsworth & Goss, our floral event company in Panama City, Florida. We specialize in crafting unforgettable experiences here in Panama City, Northwest Florida, 30A, and destination weddings across the USA.

A native of Panama City, I started my career in hospitality, including a short stint at Walt Disney World. After that, I worked in retail management and interior design before relocating to the West Coast. In San Francisco, I joined the Ann Sacks tile and stone showroom, where I worked in sales and showroom management.

After a few years away the South beconed us and we moved to New Orleans. Feeling at a crossroads in my professional life and tired of extensive travel, I had the golden opportunity to reinvent myself. I met David and accepted an offer to join the team at one of New Orleans's premier floral event companies. Embracing this leap, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning all aspects of floral design events. This line of work combines my love for beautiful things with the application of skills gained from my previous experiences. Working with David has been incredibly beneficial for both my personal and professional growth, and we have also become great friends.

In 2019, we returned to the Gulf Coast and Panama City to be closer to family and friends. After a while, David's family decided to leave New Orleans for new opportunities, and we were thrilled when they chose to relocate to our slice of heaven along the Gulf in Panama City.

In 2022, we founded Hollingsworth & Goss, and since then, we have loved the adventure of creating unforgettable experiences for our clients!
